Calf hair is delicate and shredding is normal. When it gets wet with water, let it dry by itself. Once, dry, use a baby brush and brush it ONLY towards the direction of the way the hair goes. Do not over brush. If the bag gets wet other than water, quickly clean and do the same procedure. Other liquids will stain, especially red wine. Do not store in a damp or too dry place. A calf hair-on bag is not typically an everyday bag. Rotate your bags…or maybe get another SAM bag or two. It’s normal for a certain amount of hair loss on the bag, especially on the edges or bottom of the bag. Again, hair-on calf is NOT typically for an everyday bag.
SAM gladly accepts returns of unworn, undamaged or defective merchandise for full refund, merchandise credit, or exchange provided merchandise is returned within 14 days of original purchase date. SAM can only accept returns of merchandise in new and unused condition and only in accordance with this policy.
To make a return, complete the return information section contained on the packing slip enclosed with your order and ship the merchandise and the completed return form using any traceable method. (e.g. Fedex,UPS, USPS) to the address listed below:

If you do not have the packing slip, please return the merchandise as outlined above along with a letter containing the following information:
- Your name and address, including email address
- The name, address and ZIP code of the person who placed the order
- The original purchase price and date of the purchase
- The item number of the merchandise or order number, if available
- Daytime telephone number
- Action required – refund, exchange or merchandise credit
SAM is not responsible for return shipping charges. Please ensure that your package is insured, as SAM is not responsible for loss or damage to merchandise during return shipment. Once we receive your package, we will promptly process an exchange, merchandise credit or issue a refund in accordance with this policy.
PayPal purchases may be returned for a nonrefundable merchandise credit only, provided the merchandise is returned within 14 days of the original purchase date and in accordance with the terms of this policy.
Gift recipients may return merchandise only for a nonrefundable merchandise credit, provided the merchandise is returned along with and full name and address of the original purchaser within 14 days of the original purchase date and in accordance with the terms of this policy.
We're sorry, but we do not accept C.O.D. for returns.
We are not responsible for items that were lost by the postal system, but we will work with you and your local post office to do everything within our power to find lost packages, including providing tracking numbers and proof of shipment.

SAM can only can only guarantee Christmas delivery if orders are received by December 18, 2015.
Most items will be shipped out on Fridays, or within 7 days after payment has been received/processed, unless otherwise communicated by SAM or in the case that a stamp/image is special ordered in for a customer. Please do not hesitate to contact us for questions about your shipping schedule. Shipments will be sent to the address listed on your invoice unless otherwise specified. Please double check your shipping information to make sure you have the correct address listed. If an item is returned to SAM because of an incorrect address entered upon checkout, we can resend the item after receiving payment for the cost to reship. All domestic U.S. packages are sent out first class or USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise requested. Tracking numbers will be provided with shipping notifications sent via email upon shipment so please make sure we have your email address on file. Overseas/International shipments are sent USPS first class unless otherwise requested. First class shipments take on average 6-10 business days. Sometimes it takes longer than expected due to customs. Your order may be subject to VAT, Import duties, and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country. SAM has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. If you incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs. If you decline to pay any VAT, import duties, and/or taxes and your shipment is returned to SAM, the purchaser is solely responsible for the cost of reshipment. SAM WILL NOT issue any refunds to customers that decline any VAT, import duties, taxes, etc. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS/ADDITIONAL TAXES INCURRED BY CUSTOMS.
Payment is expected before shipment. SAM reserves the right to cancel any order that has not been paid within 10 days of checkout.
Leather is natural. Colors vary from hide to hide, and our leather is top grain leather. Scratches, different tones and different shades of our basic colors show up on each hide that we get. We believe it makes each piece unique and special. Leather does come in different dye lots and colors may slightly vary from the shop photos. Due to natural skin origin and its being vegetable tanned, there may be slight variations in color or marks that do not affect in any way the quality of the product.
